To create your own unique print, first carve your design using Lino printing tools and materials, then apply the ink to your carved printing block using an ink roller. Essdee MasterCut carving blocks and the Essdee Fabric Printing Roller are ideal. Place your inked block face down on to your fabric and apply pressure to transfer the ink. Following printing, the ink should be heat-set by ironing the reverse of your print (on a non-steam setting) for 4 minutes, moving the iron over the whole of your design. The printed fabrics are washable up to 40°C. For the best results 100% cotton fabric is recommended as more textured fabrics can produce varied results.
